What we do

The foundation of OBOT is Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), primarily involving the prescription of buprenorphine (often combined with naloxone, such as in Suboxone), which helps to minimize withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. This model significantly increases access to treatment, reduces the stigma associated with addiction care, and integrates OUD management into general healthcare, often incorporating counseling, behavioral therapy, and case management services alongside the medication.
